May 15-22, 2010

Arrival in Montevideo

Day One: The tour group arrives in Montevideo, where we'll enjoy dinner at one of Montevideo's finest waterside restaurants, Casa Violeta.

Punta del Este

Day Two: We'll enjoy breakfast together, and then set off to explore some of Punta del Este's most luxurious condominium projects. Afterward we'll stop for dinner at El Palenque, before getting together for our evening activity.

Day Three: We'll continue our exploration of both Punta del Este and the nearby town of La Barra. We'll have dinner at Isidora before heading off on our evening excursion.

Uruguay's North Coast

Day Four: After breakfast, we'll see the Laguna Tranquila project, as well as the famous nearby town of José Ignacio. An evening activity will follow dinner.

Day Five: We'll tour the towns of La Paloma, La Pedrera, and the fishing village of Cabo Polonio. And while we're in the area, we'll check out the famous sea lion colony. We'll follow up, of course, with dinner and an evening outing.

Piriápolis

Day Six: After breakfast, we'll have a look at Sugar Loaf Ocean Club and Spa, and tour the sights of Piriápolis, Uruguay 's first seashore resort. In the evening, we'll enjoy dinner at the Argentino Hotel in Piriápolis …followed by our nightly excursion.

Montevideo

Day Seven: After breakfast, we'll meet with one of Uruguay's top attorneys to discuss immigration, the property purchase, export rules … and address any questions you have about living in Uruguay. Afterward we'll go to the Bouza Winery for a tour and wine tasting. Dinner will be at the famous Panini's, located in Montevideo's historic district.

Day Eight: We'll get together for any final questions, then depart to the airport for your return flight or onward journey.
