A $90,500 Condo on Ecuador’s Most Popular Beach

Sunday, January 03, 2010

A beachfront condo close to a yacht club for only $90,500? That deal just got better...today, you get kitchen appliances (a $2000 value), for free

Dear Reader,

Today's Twelve Days of Christmas getaway is from Amy Pinoargote, the developer of Spondylus II in Ecuador. Spondylus is located in Salinas, on Ecuador's Pacific coast. Prices for beachfront property are incredibly good-value in Ecuador, amongst the lowest on the planet for true toes-in-the-sand beachfront.

Guayaquil is Ecuador's most populous city and is home to an international airport. Salinas is less than two hours north, located at the southern end of La Ruta del Sol. Its 9.5 miles of wide sandy beach has made it Ecuador's "in" playground...perfect for sunbathing, boating, surfing, sport fishing, and, of course, posing.

The beachfront is lined with upscale high-rise apartments, hotels, restaurants, shops, and discos. Salinas has a stylish Miami-Beach type ambience. Residents and visitors enjoy the sun and water sports during the day. The evening is for fine dining and the vibrant nightlife.

A new condominium community is being built at the edge of a tranquil, semi-private beach a few miles north of the malecón (boardwalk) in the Costa del Oro area of Salinas. It's located near the Puerto Lucia Yacht Club, a popular destination for international sailors and an embarkation point for world-class deep-sea fishing charters.

Spondylus II is just minutes from grocery stores, a shopping mall, a country club, yacht clubs, restaurants, medical clinics, and the many other amenities of Salinas. Plans for the condo community include 24-hour security, an oceanfront social area for exclusive use by unit owners and guests, a gym, pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and secure parking. Just steps from your front door you'll find its biggest amenity: the beach.

Construction is well advanced at Spondylus. The roof is being finished on the first condo building, with installation of windows due in the coming weeks. Work on the pool and landscaping is underway.

Amy has an ocean front unit, just over 1000 square feet, for $90,500. Delivery is due this month.

Despite the price tag, you won't sacrifice construction quality. Luxurious touches such as porcelain tile floors, imported granite countertops, and ceramic tile baths come as standard.

If you purchase the unit before January 31st, Amy will include white goods at no cost (stove, refrigerator, microwave and blender). That's a value of $2000.

I have visited 15 countries in the past year alone, scouting real estate opportunities. Ecuador is home to the least expensive and best value real estate I have seen in five years. As an added bonus, Ecuador has the lowest cost of living of any country I have visited. Expats can live comfortably here on $600 per month. If you thought you couldn't afford to quit the day job and live on the beach, you may need to reconsider.

Contact Amy today to find out more.

Pathfinder is in the business of recommending a wide range of real estate and relocation services from developers and lawyers to real estate agents and tax specialists, to name but a few. Pathfinder requires developers to meet basic criteria before bringing them to you. However, any vetting we do on projects or professionals should not be construed as a guarantee by Pathfinder. Remember, the value of your real estate purchase can go down as well as up; there are no guarantees that property values will rise.

Pathfinder is not responsible for the management or delivery of chill weekends. We bring these to you for informational purposes on behalf of our developer and broker partners. As with any other overseas trip, we advise that you purchase travel insurance. We always recommend strongly that buyers perform their own complete due diligence, use a qualified legal professional to help with real estate transactions and purchase title insurance. Should a reader decide to purchase a property from one of the developers/real estate agents Pathfinder covers, Pathfinder will receive a fee from the developer or real estate agent.
