A Boater’s Paradise

Monday, March 28, 2011

Dear Reader,

Lake Arenal is a stunning, unique, special place…conveniently hidden in the hills between Costa Rica’s two international airports at San Jose and Liberia. Rich green hills of pastureland and forest roll down to the lake, and the pointed cone of a volcano provides a dramatic backdrop. Here you can afford to own a nice lot with views to the lake and volcano.

Terry Moran is my go-to guy here. Here’s a video of one of Terry’s many happy customers:

The video is taken from John’s new home at Turtle Cove Lake & Yacht Club. There are 42 home sites in this private community, starting from $57,000. Charming lake villas start at just $195,000. Developer finance is available, too.

The stunning views at Turtle Cove stretch across the lake and to the volcano. Plans call for high-end condos with spa amenities. Hundreds of fruit trees and an organic garden have been planted. The focus is sustainability…but this is still a high-end community.

The Lake Arenal Yacht Club is part of the community, and where you’ll find the marina and boat storage facilities (with 24-hour security) and club house. Arenal is a boater’s paradise, and in Turtle Cove you can rent a boat or seadoo, or take guided lake, fishing and volcano tours.

To find out more about Turtle Cove, contact Terry here.

Pathfinder is in the business of recommending a wide range of real estate and relocation services from developers and lawyers to real estate agents and tax specialists, to name but a few. Pathfinder requires developers to meet basic criteria before bringing them to you. However, any vetting we do on projects or professionals should not be construed as a guarantee by Pathfinder. Remember, the value of your real estate purchase can go down as well as up; there are no guarantees that property values will rise.

Pathfinder is not responsible for the management or delivery of chill weekends. We bring these to you for informational purposes on behalf of our developer and broker partners. As with any other overseas trip, we advise that you purchase travel insurance. We always recommend strongly that buyers perform their own complete due diligence, use a qualified legal professional to help with real estate transactions and purchase title insurance. Should a reader decide to purchase a property from one of the developers/real estate agents Pathfinder covers, Pathfinder will receive a fee from the developer or real estate agent.
