Dear Reader,
This week you have been reading in these dispatches about Coco Beach Village on Ecuador's north Pacific coast. Big lots in Coco Beach, a two minute stroll from the beach, with views to the ocean and along the coast, start at $54,280. The views from second-floor terraces will be jaw-dropping. The little fishing village of El Matal with its rustic beach bars, restaurants and working fishing boats is minutes away.
This is Ecuador's nicest stretch of coast. Ecuador's finest beaches are here. But what really sets this stretch of coast apart is the rich forest that rises steeply from her coastline of beach and rocky outcrops.
You build your own home in Coco Beach. This has been a rewarding and exciting adventure for residents who have built some stunning beachfront homes.
When you visit Coco Beach there's another appointment you should put in your planner, at Jama Campay.
Spend some time here on the beach at Jama Campay, a short drive from Coco Beach
You see...
Maybe you are looking for something a little more turnkey. Maybe you just want to move into your new home when it's complete, unpack your suitcase and relax by your pool.

Homes at Jama Campay gaze out over the blue ocean
Perched above a little cove and sandy beach, the homes at Jama Campay gaze past the breaking surf to the blue Pacific beyond. Elevated...the views stretch south along the coast. From your pool to wiggling your toes in the sand is but a few short steps. I could spend hours gazing into the blue ocean from here.
To the left of Jama Campay, forest-clad hills rise steeply from the rocky shoreline. I've hiked in the hills that rise from this stretch of coast. The ocean views (of 270 degrees in places) are awesome. Warm breezes keep the temperatures comfortable. Monkeys howl and brightly colored butterflies dance among the leaves and grasses. The 1800 square foot turnkey homes in Jama Campay start at $134, 600. That price includes your lot.

One of the homes in Jama Campay - spacious and open-plan
These homes are spacious and comfortable. The views are optimized by large open plan kitchen and living areas. Amenities will include social areas, a restaurant and tennis courts.
With a beach for swimming or volleyball...and nature all around for hiking, biking, boating or observing...this coast is one big amenity.
This is a great place to visit and spend time.
But, there's another angle. A new highway has made this stretch of coast accessible. I expect values will rise. And, here, you could earn an income from your home when you aren't visiting or enjoying it yourself.
You see, most of Jama Campay's buyers are Ecuadorian. And Ecuadorians often don't like to rent their personal beach home. Only one home in Jama Campay is currently available for rental. It's in hot demand at rates from $250-$350 per night.
At Jama Campay you could hit the ground running and be generating income in a matter of months.
Francisco, the developer of Jama Campay, is standing by to send you a full information pack.
This stretch of coast is right in the Path of Progress. New roads and bridges have made this previously inaccessible stretch of coast much easier to get to. It's now the closest beach area to Quito, Ecuador's capital.
This section of coast is set to explode. You should visit. And then decide which of these two strong opportunities (Coco Beach or Jama Campay) is for you.

P.S. Francisco will also help you visit Jama Campay. You can come and spend a couple of nights in one of the finished homes...check out the little beach towns close by...see the potential with your own eyes...and find out if this place is the sweet spot for your second home. Contact Francisco here to find out more.
