Dear Reader,
Ecuador’s nicest stretch of coast is centered on the little town of Jama. Ecuador’s best beaches are here. For nine months of the year the steep hills that roll down to the ocean are cloaked in rich green jungle canopy.
Two years ago I told you that this stretch of coast was set to explode. That’s now starting to happen, with the opening of the new coastal highway. This new highway means that this is now the closest beach area to Ecuador’s capital, Quito.
Two years ago I also told you that Coco Beach Village was a strong opportunity. Today only 8 of the 66 lots in Coco Beach are still available. This coast is hotting up…
Don’t worry. The opportunity along this coast and in Coco Beach Village in particular, hasn’t passed.
With prices starting at $54, 280 for the 8 remaining lots, these are a great buy.
Let me explain...
All of the beachfront lots in Coco Beach have sold. And today, when you visit Coco Beach, you’ll see that all the homes under construction are on those beachfront lots. When you visit them, it’s easy to picture yourself sitting on the terrace enjoying a morning coffee and the fresh ocean breezes.

The view from the terrace of a beachfront home
It’s easy for visitors to Coco Beach to see themselves in one of the homes right on the beach. They may even decide they don’t want a second-tier lot. But they’re missing out.
Coco Beach Village is only two lots wide. The second-tier lots are elevated with views to the beach, the ocean and along the coast. And you are still only a two-minute stroll down to the sand.
These lots are second-tier. But they certainly aren’t second-rate. The views are amazing and you are practically on the beach. A steep hill directly behind these lots mean that nothing will be built behind you so you won’t be overlooked.

The second tier lots are elevated and still only a short walk to the beach
Beachfront is beachfront. But there are advantages to being elevated, allowed to build higher up, and still be so close to the beach. Your home will need less maintenance and it will be more private. You will have fresh breezes and great views.
Once homes are built on these second-tier lots, with terraces and views that stretch along the coast, buyers will see these lots differently. They’ll see the potential of these lots, and the advantage of their elevated setting.
Coco Beach Village is very unique project on this coast. I’ve known the developers, brothers Gary and Larry Swenson, behind this private community for several years.
Thanks to Gary and Larry, instead of a large group of small lots with busy streets which is the norm for a beachfront community here…Coco Beach has a small group of large lots—just 66 set amid 21 acres—with one quiet street.

The playground at Coco Beach
Instead of a big boardwalk separating the homes from the beach…you can walk straight from the community to the wide sandy beach. And because all the utilities are underground, the views over the beach are uninterrupted from these remaining 8 lots.
The homes in the development are chic, constructed to a high standard, and finished superbly with local materials. Each building lot has green areas.
The beach here is one of the finest along this stretch of coast. You are right on the edge of the village of El Matal and her beachfront of rustic bars and restaurants. This is a working fishing village, not a vacation resort destination. For now that is...
You still have the opportunity to get in at Coco Beach. As I said, those last 8 lots start from $54,280. They won’t last long…
