Dear Reader,
On Wednesday, Margaret told us “A man’s home is his castle???. But the girls are also getting in on the act.
If you are part of the jet set, peace and seclusion are often hard to find. Celebrities will pay top dollar for it. And there are places where you can get this peace and seclusion for a fraction of the price you’d pay elsewhere. Seclusion when you want it. And a buzzing town and the finest white sand beaches you will see anywhere… when you want it.
I’m talking about Los Arboles Tulum and the girl I’m talking about is building a serious castle.
On my last visit here a few months ago I inspected infrastructure progress in Los Arboles and visited the homes under construction. In particular I wanted to be able to sneak in and check out her 8,000-square-foot floating mansion with its own cenote (sinkhole).
I’m sure you’ll see this home in a glossy magazine in the not too distant future…in Hello! or maybe even Architectural Digest. That is, if the high profile, young and attractive lady who is building this home opens her doors to the cameras.
The mansion is built for entertaining and partying. A massive open-plan living area will sit at tree-line level.
The plot has lots of subtle slopes giving the owner scope to be creative with views and perches. Above the living/party area is the master suite. Extending out from the main home are three walkways that will lead to guest suites…built like tree houses in the sky.
At the back of the home they are using rock from the lot to build their own cenote.
This home is going to be unique and maybe mind-blowing. I can’t wait to see it when it’s finished. I hope I get the chance to have a look around.
But, I know it will be by invitation only. Privacy in Los Arboles is protected by the large five acre lot sizes.
To remind you, Los Arboles Tulum is a development of 221 five-acre residential lots, and 10 commercial lots, set in 1,200 forested acres . Your back yard is home to hundreds of species of flora and fauna. Roads meander and branch around endangered and rare trees, and all stone curbing is built by hand from stone recycled from the site. Greg’s environmental consultants have designed this residential project to have a community feel…yet preserve 95% of the virgin jungle. Fifteen acres of nature trails weave their way through the project.
The concept is eco-friendly. Each lot is completely off-grid. While pre-approved low decibel generators are permitted, your power will mostly come from the sun and the refreshing breezes that blow above the tree line.
This would be a fine place to build your castle.
You see, here you have five acres of your own pristine forest. But Tulum’s white sand beaches (which are the nicest in Mexico), gourmet restaurants and yoga retreats are a mere twelve minutes away.
Members of my Real Estate Trend Alert group bought lots here from $65,000 with interest free finance. That was a good deal when you consider a lot recently sold for $100,000…to a cash buyer. RETA members who bought here have done well.
Los Arboles has now moved to the next level. Greg is finalizing home and lot packages. Creating a community. I’ve seen some of his home plans. He has pored over these with his team of architects since late last year. They have done creative and impressive work. Home and lot packages will start from under $200,000.
I can’t describe them to you yet. Nor can I send you a render. Greg wants them to be 100% complete before I do. He’s that type of perfectionist.
But he is planning a special event to unveil the plans. And you are invited.
The dates are September 22nd-25th. This trip will be more than a ceremonial unveiling of floor plans.
The trip will give you a flavor of what Los Arboles…and this location…has to offer. You’ll check out Los Arboles, including the homes under construction…explore the world-famous Mayan ruins at Tulum…and discover the beauty of the beaches close by.
The trip costs $199 per person.
Plus, attendees will get to see the renders and floor plans…for the home and lot packages which will start from under $200,000.
This is a place and opportunity you should check out for yourself. Contact Donna here to lock down your spot and find out more about Los Arboles. Spaces on the trip are strictly limited to 20, so contact her today to reserve your place.
