I spoke with a developer contact a few days ago about a new project he's going to launch. He mentioned his first project that's shaping up right now into a nice community. Then he dropped a bombshell.
He wants to focus more time and energy on his new project, he said. So he wanted to discount the remaining lots in his first project. What did I think?
My bargain radar immediately switched on. We chatted some more. I know this deal will appeal to many of you. You see, it ticks all the right boxes...
This isn't a developer in difficulty, with a half-finished community. It's a completed project, the gold standard in this area. Which makes the discounts even more tempting.
This community's lakeside seat gives it panoramic views over a huge lake and surrounding hills. The underground utilities are in. The streets are nicely paved and the common areas landscaped. There's a little marina and boat storage, and seven homes already built. And the location is hard to beat.
This community is in Costa Rica's Lake Country. It's an amazingly beautiful location. It's got a wonderful fresh climate that hovers in the 70s year round. And it boasts a stunning landscape of lakes, volcanoes, mountains and forests.
It's a rural paradise, but it's not remote. It's 3 hours from the international airport in San Jose and 90 minutes from Costa Rica's second international airport in Liberia.
This place is packed with wildlife - sloths, monkeys, toucans and hummingbirds. It's home to great restaurants and cafes. And it's got the friendliest bunch of expats I've met in Latin America.
As I mentioned, the developer isn't strapped financially. The community's finished. The utilities and roads are complete. But take a look at the discounts on offer:
