Tao chill weekend
Caribbean Sea, powder-sand beaches, ancient ruins: and lots of potential

Dear Reader,

Tulum’s beaches are mesmerizing. Nestled at the end of a stunning white powder sand Caribbean coastline, surrounded by untamed jungle, ancient forest cities, a protected nature reserve, and the crystal-clear Caribbean Sea, Tulum is one of the world’s best-kept secrets…for now.

Eighteen months ago I shared with you one of the most exciting finds I have made in over eight years in these dispatches. Today, I would like to invite you to visit and participate in a very special event.

You’ll enjoy cocktails under the stars,  warm Caribbean breezes at sunset, and gourmet meals. But they’re a distraction. This is an event that could change your life. It starts with this very special stretch of coast…

In Tulum you’ll find miles of powder-sand beaches, lapped by turquoise waters. The world’s second-longest coral reef is off shore. There are no high-rise condos or big shopping malls…and no spring-break crowds…on these tranquil beaches.

Million-dollar homes and chic boutique hotels dot the coastline. Home to a protected biosphere and UNESCO world heritage site, ancient Mayan ruins and lush green jungle, this is a pristine unspoiled paradise.

And this is where you’ll find Tao. Tao is a project of condos, town homes and residences I told you about eighteen months ago. That was before a single sod was turned. The developer, Benjamin Beja, had a vision, a team and a truly special piece of land.

When I visited last month the first residents were moving in. Benjamin’s team was putting the finishing touches to the Tao Center.

The special event I am inviting you to is to mark Tao’s coming of age, from vision to reality.

And it’s not too late for you to get in.

The Tao Center is the focal point of the Tao project. You can start the day with yoga on glass platforms over Mayan caverns. You can work out in the gym, or swim in lap pools. In the evenings, you can learn salsa and the traditions of the ancient Maya with your friends and neighbors.

Tao is set in a five star resort, with a beach and golf course. You can stroll along the white sand beach with the turquoise Caribbean caressing your feet. Or work on your golf game. You’re steps away from the Robert Trent Jones II course. You’re not idle. You’re active and engaged. Sharper, fitter and feeling younger than you have in decades. Ready to take on the world again.

The Tao Center is headed up by CEO Jonathan Ellerby. Jonathan is the former Spiritual Director at Canyon Ranch.

Exclusive communities and boutique resorts are popping up all over the U.S. to cater to this trend of an active, engaged lifestyle.

But none of them are minutes from the white powder of one of the Caribbean’s finest beaches…one of the world’s most prized nature preserves… or most historically and culturally significant ancient ruins. This place is rich in food for the body and for the mind.

And none of them comes with a price tag like here. For example, a home in one of the Canyon Ranch communities could set you back well into seven figures.

Here, you can buy a condo from $182,000. Developer finance is available, making homes in Tao even more affordable.

Creating this type of community isn’t easy. You don’t just plant a “for sale??? sign on your land and start selling lots. You need a place of outstanding natural beauty and prime cultural importance. You need the people to design and deliver the experience. You need First World infrastructure to get you there and keep you connected.

Only a very special place and team could deliver this.

Benjamin and his all-star team are on track to pull it off. It’s is fast becoming reality.

This is the type of community, with the caliber of team where you would expect to spend a million dollars or more. Yet you can get in for a fraction of this. And buyers here could be sitting on quite an investment…

I’m bullish on Tulum not just because of the coast and white sands but also because of improved infrastructure (including plans for an international airport) and a government program plans to grow tourist numbers.

The appreciation potential of the Tao project is strong because:

- The white sandy beaches of Tulum are Mexico’s finest. You just can’t replicate that.
- The resort infrastructure is already in—$100 million has been invested to date to get the resort looking the way it does today. Front loading an investment of $100 million is a huge barrier to entry to future competition.
- Tulum can’t sprawl south along the coast. The protected Sian Ka’an biosphere now covers more than 2 million acres. That limits the amount of land available for residential and resort development.
- Once developed, the concept and amenities at Tao will add a unique dimension. Tao is a community with competitive advantages and a clear head start in an area where a government plan calls for the increase of tourism numbers.

This stretch of coast and this project is something you should see for yourself.

And the easiest way to do that is on a Tao chill weekend trip.

Over four days, you’ll relax in the resort…spend time checking out the stunning beaches and nature reserves in the area…and see the Tao Center and the first completed homes in the community for yourself.

The trip costs only $180 per person for three nights’ all-inclusive hotel accommodation.

All you have to do is book your flight…and see the potential of this place open up before you.

Spaces are strictly limited to 20. If you’d like more details, or to book your spot, contact the Tao team here.
