Dear Reader,
Close your eyes and think of a Caribbean island...
Soft-sand beaches, lapped by turquoise seas. Tropical sunshine and a summer-blue sky. Tall coconut palms fluttering in the breeze. All it needs is a hammock and a cool drink...and it's a little slice of paradise.
Now picture yourself owing a home in this place. If you're already seeing giant dollar signs, relax. On this Caribbean island, we have three property options...for less than $100,000. And one is only 100 meters from a beautiful beach.
This affordable Caribbean island is the Dominican Republic. It's quick and easy to get here...2 hours 10 minutes from Miami, and 3 hours 41 minutes from New York. It's got the coral-sand beaches, the balmy seas, and the palm trees. It's got beach weather, too, with temperatures in the 80s year-round. It's already a popular tourist destination. But those tourists mostly head to resort areas like Punta Cana.
Now, there's nothing wrong with Punta Cana if you enjoy all-inclusive resort hotels and modern shopping malls. But you'll see another side to the Dominican Republic in Las Terrenas. This beach town is understated but chic. And a new road, recently opened, cuts the drive time from Las Terrenas to the island's capital (Santo Domingo) to 90 minutes.
Las Terrenas is a true Caribbean island getaway, with golden sands, bright blue sea, and graceful coconut palms. There's plenty of space to spread out and relax on the gorgeous beaches. It's a good spot for snorkeling, swimming, and soaking up the tropical sun...
You can walk to cafes, restaurants, the beach, stores, supermarkets, and nightclubs. Outside the town, you'll discover miles of beaches, and pretty coves.
You'll enjoy eating out, too. The tiny wooden buildings lining the beach look quirky. But step inside and you're in gourmet heaven. You might find a local bar serving chilled beer, fresh shrimp and lobster....or a fancy place with snowy napkins, soft music and candles.
Here are three affordable property picks in Las Terrenas.
Pick #1.

An 84 square meter (903 square feet) house for $99,500. This home is within walking distance to restaurants, cafes and stores, and ten minutes from the beach. The garden surrounding the home offers privacy.
Pick #2.

This two-bed two-bath home in a small private community opens onto the social area and swimming pool. The community offers property and rental management when you're away. It's a true lock and leave home. It covers 85 square meters (915 square feet) and it's listed at $93,500.
Pick #3.

This apartment is only 100 meters from the beautiful Playa Bonita. The open-plan home has one bedroom and bathroom, and a large terrace that overlooks the shared gardens and swimming pool. It's 65 square meters (700 square feet) and priced at $85,000.
I love Las Terrenas. And I'm excited that we can now offer you a chance to come and see it for yourself, on our newest chill weekend. It's our first in the Dominican Republic.
You'll stay in a gorgeous beachfront home, with a stunning pool area. You'll relax with fellow attendees...spend time getting to know Las Terrenas...explore the beaches close by...and immerse yourself in the laid-back Caribbean island lifestyle...
You'll see a range of properties...including low-priced options like these, luxury dream homes, and everything in between...something to suit all budgets.
The trip runs November 18th-20th.
The trip costs $325 per person. Local real estate agent Toni Green is running the trip. You can contact her here to lock down your spot.
But don't delay. Space on the trip is strictly limited, and I'd hate for you to miss out. Contact Toni now to find out more and reserve your place.
